The "Arnie" nail art

I go to a gym called Crossfit. They have special WOD(workout of the day) in memory of a person who died in the line of duty. Yesturday was the "Arnie". The gym puts on a special workout to honor him. All the proceeds go to his daughter, Sofia Grace, who was born 3 months after he passed in a firefighting accident. You can go to Crossfit's website to read more about it.

I did the workout yesturday and do my nails to match it.

My little sister did her lemonade stand here and donated all the proceeds to Sofia Grace.

Lemons oh lemons!

My little sister set up a little lemonade stand at the gym with some of her friends. So I did a little nail art with a lemon just for the occasion.

Look at those hearts!

I am back in school now so my posting has taken a bit of a back seat position now. I'm glad I finally got another post this week though. I'll try to get one done this weekend.

I used China Glaze, for Audrey.

A twinkle in the sky

I finally picked up a black To do designs with. I used to have to use a black crackle and it worked some of the time... But now I have a real black so here is a sparkly pink over black, over blue. ;)

Cupcake fingers

I bought a new nail polish by china glaze. Its called for Audrey. I love this color and using it for designs. This one did leave some bubbles so I'll have to try it more to figure out why.

Sock Bun!

I learned how to do a really easy sock bun yesterday and it's really cute!
So here's how:
1. Brush your hair into a high pony tail.
2. Fold the sock into itself do I looks like a donut and thread your hair through the donut.
3. Tip your head over so your pony tail is facing up.
4. Spread your hair evenly over the donut in all directions.
5. Put a pony tail over the spread hair and on top of the pony tail under the hair. This creates a bun.
6. Take the hair on the outside of the bin and twist it while wrapping it around the bun. Pull in other hair as you go around.
7. Tuck the end of the hair in the bottom of the bun.
8. Bobby pin the end and any extra hairs.
9. You can leave it like that or take a small scarf and twist it then wrap it around the bun and tie.

Pearly Pink!!

This manicure uses two colors. (Essie) Buy me a cameo and (Nicole) spotlight pink. The Essie looks more like a pearl shade to me. I like this look with the pink.

By the way. My blogging might come to a stand still until I can go out and buy some more top coat/ base coat. I haven't had time lately.
