Miss Madison and I

I went to my friend Madison's house yesturday and we did our nails(big surprise) but I wanted to show you guys her cute cheetah print! You may recognize her little hands from Candy Coated Tips pictures!

5 minute pedicure

I have had my toes without nail polish for a few days and I really wanted some color to add to my outfit. I didn't have much time so I did a color that would only need one coat. The beauty of toes is you can make little mistakes and it's okay because you can't see them unless your looking at them really close. I wanted a little bling on my toes so I grabbed my gems. First I was going to just put three, one in the corner and another on the sides. Something happened on the first one I did where they kinda went to the outside and to fix it I put two more in the middle. I thought it looked really cute so I did that on the other side too.
There a little messy but like I said, "5 minute pedicure"!

Under the trees!

I went camping for a week and I wanted to do something to match the camping theme! So here is my foresty nails!

Say hello to Arizona!

I did a lovely little flower on my ring finger! It's kind of a pink sunflower! I used Zoya Arizona (orange). This manicure was fun to do and great for a summer day at the beach or exploring the stores at the mall!

Blue cheetah

I learned how to do cheetah print recently and I wanted to try it out! I know I know, I can do all kinds of complicated manicures, (and some not) and I didnt know how to do cheetah? Well I've tried it before but I never had a cheetah print that I liked! Well I found one that I do like and here it is!

Rosie the Riveter inspired hair!

I don't usually post hair on here because I like my nail blog to be about well...NAILS. But today I'm making an exception! I found this video on YouTube of a Rosie the Riveter how to look. I don't remember what the name was exactly of the video but oh well. I tried it on my little sister and then got inspired to do a photo-shoot of her. I used the Hipstamatic App on the iPhone to take these photos. Here are some of my favorites!
There is also one picture of where her hair is down. Thats after when she was trying to get her hair out! I used so much hair spray that it stayed in a ponytail through the next day after we took it out!

I'm not sure what to call it Manicure!

I'm not really sure what to call this manicure! It's a light blue from Zoya with a gray and blue striped french tip. The pointer finger is gray with blue strand pearls going down.

Since I'm not sure what to call this manicure I need your guys help! Please leave comments for what you think the name should be!

Summer Roses

I wanted some summery, bright nails to show off at a party I went to. So I decided to use yellow! I wasn't a mustard yellow or something gross like that. Its a very summery yellow! Lately I have been seeing rose nail art online, I thought I might give it a try! I haven't seen the tutorials for it yet. I just gave it my best shot and I like the way it turned out! I got plenty of compliments on these little roses! I think this is going down as a success!

Cotton Candy Nails

Everybodykeeps asking how i did this so i figured i would post instructions. I used a make up sponge to make this manicure. It's so easy!
1. Base coat, as always
2. 2 coats of white nail polish
3. Paint a line of pink and a line of blue together (slightly overlapping) on a make up sponge. You know, the triangle kind.
4. Dab the sponge on the nail enough times so it isn't opaque.
5. Quickly apply a top coat to the nails and let dry.
Tada cotton candy nails.
