Mermaid nails!

I saw this on someone else blog but thought it was so cute so I replicated it. I think it turned out really nice and I would definitely do it again. The only down side is it takes a long time to do the "scales".

I started off with a pure ice blue and applied 2 coats. Let dry.

Then I used a bobby pin and painted dots randomly with each color until it looked full.

I applied a top coat to all of the nails.
(Hint* Wait a while before you put the top coat on the scales or it will smudge the polish.)
