Tye die nails...

I tried the tye die nails in a previous blog post and it did not turn out as expected! I found out, it's not a good idea to cut corners with this one! Use a cup you don't care about, tape up your fingers first, and do the whole thing over an old towel. Also make sure to put the paint in the water fast and dip your fingers in within a few seconds of putting the paint in.

Vaseline is a girls best friend!

Smear Vaseline around your nails before you paint them. After they dry wipe off the extra nail polish around the nail were the Vaseline was and it comes off! No polish remover necessary! It conditions your skin and you don't risk messing up your nails!

Visit the site below for 20 uses for Vaseline!

Beach Babe Nails

These nails started as a daffodil and ended up as a beach scene.

They start as a full coat of color in the background, let dry.

Use the decor nail brush and make a half circle for an island. Make a tree then paint a squiggly line across from the island to the nail. Draw a sun at the top.

Use a silver or gray and put were is nessesary.

Tye dye

I did my toes in a tye dye sort of way! This is the first time I have ever done this and I think it came out nice!

First I painted my toes with Sally Hansen's Xtreme wear, gunmetal.

Then I used kiss nail art neon pink(the decor brush with neon pink), I applied it in a flowery design. There are pictures of each coat of polish.

Next I used the neon green(same brand) I made another flower like design around the pink one.

After that, I used the blue in the same fashion around the green.

I used the silver in the corners and sides to finish it.

Experiment time!

I was all out of nails and I wanted to experiment so I called over my sister. She let me do her nails and I did some things that I have never done before. Let me know how I did! Leave comments with advice or feelings on my experiments.
I did green with chains, silver with a blue stripe (using painters tape or blue tape), pink cheetah print, pink and purple tiger stripes, and she did red, silver, and blue stripes.
I also tried a scene on my toes. It is a rose with a grass and sky background.

Elegance meets purple

I used a light purple from Orly and a silver from the Sideca brand (I know I broke my rule, I used a store brand!:( )
The purple goes down and let it dry.
Then take the decor tool and make little curl shaped lines with the silver for design.

Spring is here!

I did my nails in honor of spring and I must say they are so cute! This is the best nail creation of mine yet! I have also come up with a title for myself, I am a "creative nail decor enthusiast"!

These nails are done with 5 different colors; REVLON-Spanish moss, essie-917, REVLON-ocean, REVLON-palm cashmere, and orly-purple.

First I did a coat of the Essie green polish.
Wait for it to dry then take the detail brush and paint the REVLON Spanish moss as the flower stems with leaves coming off.
Use the detailing brush to make flower petals then place a gem in the middle of each flower.
**To do this you need a steady hand and 10-15 minutes**
